About Us

It's About Family and Friends

The Family and Friends Corvette Club (FFC) started in 2005.   Anthony Thomas and Archie Lee are the founding members.

They formed their own Corvette club after leaving a club with too many restrictions,  and not enough driving. They wanted a club where other Corvette enthusiasts could gather, but most importantly where everyone’s input was appreciated. The goal was to promote an environment where “all are welcome”.   They also encouraged each member to propose a "ghost run": That's where it's a surprise trip with our cars going somewhere nice, and where the "ghost" leader is the captain for that day.  We  can  go sightseeing, have lunch or stay overnight, but  riding together for pleasure is what's  most important!

Since its inception, Corvette enthusiasts from all over northern California have joined us.  From San Ramon, Vallejo, Sacramento, Fresno, Fairfield, Clovis, Elk Grove, Suisun, Martinez, Richmond, Hercules, Yuba City, Antioch, Oakland, Ceres, to Modesto.

Sure, we love to show our beautiful cars but FFC believes in giving back to our communities. Over the years we have been involved in many local charities in the northern California area.

Following is a short list of where we have contributed:

  • We send care packages to our troops, adopt families for the holidays, and participate in the Breast "Cancer Awareness Walks".
  • We donate to the Sacramento Area Correctional Officer's Association with their Toy Drive and annual Holiday Party benefiting the residents of the Oak Park Community Center.
  • The "Santa loves Seniors" volunteer organization is dedicated to providing a  giftwrapped present to over 250 senior citizens each year, and we are proud to support their cause for a second year.   Everyone leaves with smiles on their faces.
  • Supporting the Times Herald  "Community Christmas Card Fund"!  True  heroes, who help the most in need. Please join us in helping the "Sparrow Project",  "Faith Food Fridays" , and "the Christian Help Center.
  • Supporting the "First Place For Youth" organization whose mission is supporting Foster Kids with the tools they need to reach their full potential in school, work, and life in Fairfield.

In conjunction with a gift giveaway at the beginning in 2005, we arranged a pizza party for all to enjoy.  While at the event, a young lady left a heart-wrenching letter asking for help for her recently unemployed mother and 8 brothers and sisters, but asking nothing for herself.  We were not only honored that she asked us,  but very pleased to help each and every one of the family have a joyous Christmas.

Join us for our annual Corvette Car show and competition event, because we feature over 200 cars every year. Enjoy a huge raffle, live music, vendors, and a great time!

There’s much more that we have organized and participated in than what you have read here. It’s a joy to put our Corvettes on show, but it truly brings a deeper more heart-felt love to all our members when we participate in these special events of giving back!

For the upcoming months and years, we’ll look for more ways to support various organizations and community activities while

"Rollin' in the Fast Lane"!
